How Your Photos Are Processed

MogScore analyzes your photos entirely on your device using MediaPipe Face Mesh (WebAssembly). Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service. This is not a policy choice — it is an architectural decision. Our servers physically cannot receive your images.

What We Store Locally

Your analysis results (score, metrics, archetype) and photo are stored in your browser's localStorage for the results display and share feature. This data exists only on your device and is cleared when you clear your browser data. We have no access to it.

What We Send to Our Servers

The only data sent to our servers is when you purchase a personalized guide ($4.99). At that point, we send your analysis result (metrics and scores as JSON) — not your photo — along with your payment token. This is used to generate your personalized guide via AI and is not stored after generation.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store credit card numbers, bank details, or PayPal account information on our servers. PayPal handles all payment data according to their own privacy policy.

Analytics

We use PostHog and Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature usage). These do not track your facial analysis results or personal information. We track events like “scan completed” (with score and tier, no photo) to understand product usage.

Data Deletion

Since we don't store your data on our servers, there is nothing to delete. To clear local data, clear your browser's localStorage or use your browser's “Clear Site Data” feature for mogscore.vercel.app.
